First Credit Union has partnered with Junior Achievement of Arizona and is proudly sponsoring the financial institution at their second JA BizTown™ learning experience for fifth and sixth grade students.
JA BizTown™ encourages students to learn about the free enterprise system by participating in a simulated town. Student experiences vary from working in a financial institution, a television station, or a retail store, to managing personal finance, writing checks and accounting. Students realize the relationship between what they learn in school and their successful participation in a simulated economy.
First Credit Union is committed to improving financial literacy among kids and communities and that is why we are supporting this important and educationally rich program. By supporting JA BizTown™, First Credit Union is able to reach nearly 10,000 Arizona elementary students each year with the message of financial literacy and the importance of starting good financial habits early in life.
